Archibold Park is a dog-friendly park in Forresters Beach with plenty of shade. Just 550m away, Forresters Beach is a great nearby beach to visit with your dog.
Dogs are welcome on-leash at this park. Under the NSW Companion Animals Act, dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas except designated off-leash zones.
A great little park for kids of all ages. The flying fox for the bigger kids looks fun. New, clean and fully fenced from the road.
Large grass area, fenced off for young kids, flying fox, swings (get a bit hot in direct sun), climbing section, slide and balance beams. Overall decent, but not a lot of shade
Lovely playground, equipment is tidy, clever design & fits into the environment nicely. Small flying fox, 3 swings, cool climbing frame, one bench seat/table and a water fountain. No rubbish bins, no toilets, no shade over equipment & open to the road but still a nice spot.
Such a lovely park, it's very colourful, plenty of shade from the trees also. Equipment includes slippery slide 2 swings, 1 round net swing, climbing equipment sensory elements, stairs to the slide and a ramp to the sensory play..cute playspace for all ages I think.
We were travelling 1.5hrs, my 2yo & 10 month old was as you can imagine both were becoming unsettled so we stopped at this park close by. The park is great and updated, has a undercover picnic table. However I feel being a childrens park and so close to the road there needs to be a gate/fence around it. I'm sure most mums can agree they have runners and is especially hard with 2u2, to be split between them both at the same time. Apart from that I think its great. Slide, swings, net swing, money bars, flying fox - it has it all. My son had a blast..
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
