What people say
Very beautiful beach. However, no one tells you in reviews that there is an extremely steep set of stairs to gain access to the beach. It is so steep that people were abandoning their beach trolleys and umbrellas 🤣 there were also numerous people who needed assistance from lovely locals to get back up the stairs, including us! Community is very friendly. There were alot of families and dogs on the beach, very nice to see.
nice beach, the access is by stairs. There is a dog area. The beach is very quiet and not crowded at all, a bit windy and the waves sometimes are strong especially later in the afternoon but overall we had a nice and relaxing day.
We visited a beautiful, long beach near the Central Coast during our stay. The scenery was stunning, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful day by the ocean, and we loved every moment of it!
Forrester's Beach is a stunning stretch of coastline, framed by dramatic cliffs and rock platforms that give it a wild, untamed feel. Overlooked by Wyrrabalong Lookout to the north, accessible via Cromarty Hill Road or a scenic walk from Crackneck Point, the headland offers breathtaking views of the beach and coastline to the south. The steep staircase leading down to the beach often keeps it quiet, even during busier times. This beach is a paradise for photographers, anglers, and those who love to explore rock pools. Surfers also favour Forrester's Beach for its reliable swell and less crowded waves, providing an ideal spot to catch some waves without the usual hustle. The beach takes its name from Robert Forrester, one of the first free settlers in the area. Granted land here in the early 19th century, Forrester's legacy lives on through this beautiful and serene coastal suburb.
