The food was good. I enjoyed their fish and crispy chips, the tartar sauce was really good. The chicken katsu burger was also nice, the chicken was well seasoned and had a thin, flavorful crumb. It’s a lovely spot for a meal, especially since they have dog-friendly outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and even filled up water for my dog.

We had a strawberry milk shake and Mango smoothie. Milk shake wasn't strawberry so sauce added to? which made it taste AWFUL! Mango smoothie very bitter. Both NOT drunk. Worst we have ever had😫. Could not be bothered asking for another

This little cafe is located directly across the road from the entrance foreshore ( memorial park ) It has some slender ocean views from some of the outside seating, and great ocean breezes on occasion. The internal of the cafe is a colourful eclectic miss match of fabrics and art that surprisingly works quite well all together. I’ve stopped in here for a coffee twice now, I had planned to order a meal, unfortunately time hasn’t allowed as yet. The 2 coffees I did buy on the 2 different occasions I went there I have mixed opinions on both. The first was very enjoyable, made well with fantastic thick rich foam, good temperature good flavour etc. The second ( more recently ) was watery hardly any foam and absolutely flavourless, like dirty dish water. Not enjoyable whatsoever. 2 sips and I left it. Even more annoying is that I waited almost 15 minutes for it and the cafe was empty except for 1 group which was already eating. ( strangely the same person made them both times ) The service here was below average, non existent actually. I’m finding that generalised service these days that comes from the younger generation and without wanting to stereotype here, have a lacklustre no talk attitudes towards customers and customer service. Time and time again ( and no offence intended to this particular cafe ) but it generally consists of “ what do want ? “ or what would you like ? “ nothing further and then “ ave a good one “ which to me is atrocious customer service, but what is even worse than that, Is complete silence. On this particular occasion in this cafe I got absolutely silence, nothing, no talking, no hello, no goodbye, no thank you. Absolutely Nothing! Not a single word. I have experienced this many times elsewhere recently too and it’s not good. Can the younger generation manage much else I wonder? Do owners still teach customer service to their staff ?? I’m assuming not. It seems consistently the same lately , wherever I go, whenever I get served by someone 16-25. The cafe was clean but untidy with 3 -4 uncleared tables of food and dishes both outside and inside, also food and rubbish on the floors. It wasn’t busy whatsoever only 1 table with people and there’s really no excuse for it to be that way when 2 staff walked straight by empty handed several times without cleaning any of it up. With all that said, I can’t comment on the food or anything else. Who knows the food might be fantastic Or maybe not. I guess I’ll actually have to return if I want to find out .. which poses the question do I want to return to find out given the service and bad coffee I got … Hmmm ???? 🤔 Would I recommend.. unsure Would I return… unsure Suitable for 2 -8

Cute cafe right at the entrance. The coffee was good however, the food was okay. Felt like the eggs benny had too much sauce but the bacon and egg roll was yummy. The staff were very friendly so still enjoyed our time here.

We came across this warm and beautiful cafe on our trip to the entrance. It is a great breakfast place for families. The cafe has books to read for all ages and the food is amazing quality. The staff is very friendly and can cater to your needs. Definitely recommend this cafe if your looking for a good breakfast spot.
