What people say
Great beach. No dogs allowed even in a leash. Hard to do fishing there. You have to climb down rock. Just great for swimming.
Love Brunswick Heads one of the most beautiful places in Eastern Australia
Bush Turkeys abound. Just off the water. Friendly folks and picnic tables. Definitely a good spot to have lunch after a walk on the beautiful beach there.
Had a very good time while there. There are several areas for one to have a dip, rest, or eat. All very laid back. Tons of hipsters and hippies everywhere when we went so very very chill. Recommend going with family, date, or with kids. There's something for everybody.
Located right next to Brunswick Heads, the park has the beach on one side and the river and town on the other. The locals think of Torakina as the small beach located at the mouth of the Brunswick River. This is a sheltered beach and is ideal for small kids and families. The beach gets very busy at holiday times and the sheltered spots under/near the trees are popular. This is a great place to visit. Ideal for canoes too.
