Hotel Gosford is a pub in Gosford. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 200m away, Kibble Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
I loved my 3 night stay at Hotel Gosford. The staff, the bistro food, the reincarnated rooms and furnishings. Loved the antique elevator. Absolutely in love with the place, it has an aura of antiquity. The refurbishments are beautiful and consistent with the insane establishment date of 1926. I loved the simple cable protected car park with a 4 digit code that even I could remember. It was the first place I ever stayed in without a private bathroom but there were plenty of shared bathrooms and toilets in immaculate cleanliness such that I never bumped into a single person when I needed to use the facilities. I realised I’ve been wasting thousands of dollars over a decade on the privilege of having a private toilet and shower. Best wishes to the staff at Hotel Gosford and especially the chefs, the salmon sashimi entree was insane as was the steak I had on the day after Boxing Day.
This hotel bistro restaurant used to be terrific in every way. Well lit, easy to use, food excellent and reasonablely priced. Then it was entirely transformed. It's now dark, not user friendly, expensive and mediocre food. I don't recommend it anymore. It's a shame. It used to be so congenial, user friendly and lit adequately. Not now. It is an historic hotel and even the date of 1928 has been painted over.
“You get what you pay for” and, in this case, far more than expected. We recently stayed for three nights with our two children and had a fantastic experience. For a two-star hotel, this place seriously overdelivers. Both bedrooms were renovated and comfortable. One had an ensuite for us, the other for the kids the bathroom was shared. Yet the shared bathrooms were stylish and, honestly, felt luxurious. The restaurant has a modern, family-friendly vibe, as does the food, fresh and quality-driven. The location is perfect: central to all the beaches and attractions on the Central Coast. Outstanding value for money, with five-star service from genuinely friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely be staying at “The Goosy” again!
Me and my family had lunch on Sunday and the food was exceptional! There was about 10 of us and we all had something different and everyone loved their meals. The restaurant itself is also lovely and bright and a really nice place to have a meal!
Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Hotel Gosford. The food was exceptional, my partner had the linguine and I had the rump steak, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The service truly made the night though. Huge shoutout to Maddie, our waiter, who was absolutely lovely. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel so welcome without ever being overbearing. You can tell she genuinely knows her stuff and cares about giving great service. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, the service was faultless, and the quality of the food was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend
