Buck Hamblin is a cafe in Thirroul. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 300m away, WF Jackson Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Excellent service and coffee is nice and generous in portions. Their eggs are excellent and squared like a bit of a fluffy omlette. Sitting outside and people watching is great and it’s on the shaded side of the street so you can appreciate the nice sea breeze.
The food was good quality, and tasty. But I felt that ~$70 for x2 smallish plates of food and x3 coffees (with an example of an oat piccalo costing $7.80...?!) was excessively expensive for a light brunch. And although I do appreciate that the cost of living is increasing, there is a limit to what one can consider as reasonable, and can reasonably afford.
A great coffee made by very nice staff. Jaye, who served me, was friendly and polite, and makes a great coffee!
This has been the best coffee we’ve tried in Australia! We were very looking forward to a cup of coffee that had more flavors. They do batch brew and I’m glad we ordered bottomless, i.e. free refill. The breakfast was also delicious. We tried the sourdough bread with poached eggs, cherry tomatoes and delicious pesto! We also tried another dish with poached eggs, bacon, spinach and some sort of potatoes. We were super happy with the breakfast. Plus we loved the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly.
Lovely little cafe. We had a quick lunch here today. The Buck Burger was very good, perfectly seasoned and balanced. The crispy boiz was delicious too, the rosti was YUM! Friendly service and the place is immaculate. We will definitely be back.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
