Large open park with multiple paths, ponds and amenities to take the doggies out for a nice walk, jog or stroll around. Big oval here for the sport fanatics and a playground for children. Plenty of toilets and taps to drink from, or give your dog a top up. There are nice red gums and paperbark trees here to help keep cool in summer time. There's even a zombie tennis court! Great trails to enjoy and if you walk the entire park it's about 6km in total. There's bridges around, so you can take a shortcut if you are in a hurry or tired. Nice park with friendly locals, family friendly atmosphere that has plenty of room to breathe and relax. Parking is on-site and at multiple points, very easy to navigate.
A very nice park, with lots of sporting activities. Plenty of shades, no proper walking path, for morning walkers.... Toilets are very bad shape, need maintenance. Also limited benches for people 2 sit and enjoy
Great park, kid-friendly. We took our grandkids there to play, and we enjoyed watching the birds and ducks. Fun for everybody.
Several big parks nearby, good place to have a walk or jogging. We spent almost 90 mins to explore that area and the nearby parks. Even saw a residential place have 2 horses at the backyard.
The park area itself is quite massive boasting many different parks and children playgrounds, serving the suburb of Monterey in Bayside LGA. In my exploration time, it's the first time I came across a well maintained baseball ground in Sydney. It's got a nice walking trail starting near Barton St. Scarborough Park - park or enter from Culver St or any of the parallel streets. Scarborough Park East - from Monterey St Scarborough Park Central - from Barton St You'll also see the old logos of City of Rockdale (it merged with City of Botany to become Bayside Council/LGA).
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
