Nice open area to play, relax or walk your dog.

Lovely park and loop bushwalking. If it wasn’t for the planes you wouldn’t know you were in the middle of suburban Sydney. Lots of birds and fish to look at. Small playground with sand makes for a good pit stop during the walk. Just keep an eye out for off leash dogs.

A local park with multiple sporting fields, walking track and playground for the kids. Could do with some path maintenance from the council, but is surprisingly safe even at night. Also home to the lovely volunteer hawthorne street bush regen group, who meet every second saturday of the month to pull out weeds and pick up rubbish.

Amazing to have such places in the middle of suburbs. Get there, switch off, enjoy the scenery with kids and family and forget about the daily struggles for a bit...

This park is home to the Arncliffe Scotts baseball club. They maintain the two diamonds extremely well and it is a nice outing to watch the games on the weekend. The little kiosk opens and serves your normal game takeaway things like burgers, hotdogs, chips etc.
