What people say
Playground in park, with picnic tables and park amenities like bins and toilets nearby. Currently broken shade sail
MacCabe Park is a handy, green spot in the city centre, perfect for a quick playground visit or chill evening stroll. It’s got a bit of everything: play areas, art, and peaceful vibes after dark. Just keep in mind, the vibrant colors are best enjoyed during the day or early evening.
Large open green space. Often visited by alcoholics, drug users, homeless sleeping in the gardens - generally used by people who have no respect for public spaces. The park is outdated with its playground and feels disconnected from the surrounding cbd with the random buildings along the roadside.
Beautifully decorated park, its worth visiting in the evening time when the lights on tree are switched on. It has multiple entrances and has a 4 hour car park on one side. Has a skating/baskeball area on one end of the park. A mural can be seen on the other side of road where the bus stop is.
A neat little park just a short stroll away from Crown Street Mall. Lots of seating options, including covered and shady picnic tables. Large grassed areas for running around and ball sports.
