I’ve been going to Lili J for a year now, what can I say a great place to be especially on the weekends. Since I’ve become a regular, you get a warm greeting ‘Oh hey lovely’ makes you feel part of the cafe family. The coffee is great and since they introduced the Piaz Dagh it’s been my go to favourite. I feel productive when I’m at the cafe when I read my books and do my note taking. The staff are friendly and their food always hits the spot. Highly recommended Lili J it’s my favourite cafe in Wollongong.
I came here the other day just for a drink and ordered a small iced matcha. It was served in a small water glass and was about half ice, so the actual liquid amount was quite limited. What stood out was that my friend ordered a takeaway iced matcha and received a noticeably larger amount, despite similar pricing, which made the dine-in drink feel over-expensive. That said, I’d still come back — I’ve heard great things about the bagels and would likely opt for takeaway next time.
Excellent omelette and burger. Lovely space. Friendly staff. A nice quaint little spot. Excellent coffee ☕ Great to sit quietly and do some work. Garden section very cosy. Bathroom was clean but had no soap, however after mentioning it to someone I'm sure they took care of it. Great little corner catch up place. Great place to sit while having your car serviced down the road.
Loved this cafe so much! Went there twice for breakfast, had overnight oats, and also had Hong Kong french toast which were absolutely amazing! Loved the atmosphere in the cafe and the staff were so kind and awesome. Also the coffee was great!
We had such a lovely brunch at Lili J in Wollongong! The vibes were relaxed, the food? Absolute bangers. The mushrooms with whipped cheese and poached egg were next level – earthy, creamy, and full of flavor. The dish on the crispy bread with pickled onions and greens looked almost too pretty to eat
