Its a great park If your out with the family with kids setting up near the play equipment with the large swings is a great idea. (Lagoon park is much better in terms of the kids playground ... but also busier) Close to beach if you want to cross the road for a swim too. Public Toilets are very filthy tho. But council has provided a very nice park here. Plenty room to play ball, picnic and enjoy the day.
Nice and clean park. There are plenty of parking spaces. Available public toilets. Available picnic shed areas. It has playground and spacious well-designed grassy garden and lawns.
Lang Park, Wollongong is a lovely spot for a relaxed family outing and a perfect place to enjoy a picnic. The park is well maintained, spacious, and surrounded by greenery, making it ideal for kids to run around and play freely. My kid really enjoyed the open space and had a great time exploring and playing, which made the visit even more special for us. It’s a peaceful place where families can sit back, spread a picnic mat, and enjoy quality time together. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, away from the busy city vibe, yet very accessible. Overall, Lang Park is a great choice for families with children, casual picnics, or anyone looking to unwind in nature. We would definitely visit again.
Beautiful park across the road from City Beach. Wonderful kids playground with ample safe area to run around a play ball. Cafe across the road to pick food and refreshments
Had some huge events in that park over the last 2 years. UCI (huge) and more recently World Triathlon final
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
