Cafe Els is a cafe in Warilla. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 550m away, Warilla Fenced Dog Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Always came here for breakfast and had 0 complaints, but came in today for lunch around 1pm and had the worst service ever. a short blonde lady who is older, no glasses had a horrible attitude and honestly all of the staff were pretty rude. accompanied by a taller brunette lady wearing glasses they made dining in unbearable. asked for no vegetables on my sub (as i dont like the heat warming them up, would rather them fresh and cold) and she laughed and said “soo.. plain?” when i said yes she laughed and said “okay just say that?” food arrived, absolutely burnt. inedible, the chicken was charcoal and i found a random piece of pork within the chicken? when met with trying to get their attention for take away containers they then sighed and mumbled because they only had one and she said she had to go and get more. staff turnover is hectic in the place, maybe we should hire some better ones that actually respect customers.
My mates and I were in the area for a show in late May and had to find places to eat. Came across this one and was very pleased! The food was delicious!! The staff were amazing. Even in their busiest time they made sure we were happy and comfortable as we had to be seated outside due to being a big group, they even remembered who we were the next day We all agreed if we went to Wollongong again for the same sort of thing we’ll be eating there again!
We're down in Shellharbour for the long weekend and decided to stop in for some breakfast. We had the Corn Fritters and the Loaded Croissant, and the food was exceptional for a small town café, coffee was good too! The kids had milkshakes and pancakes and loved them, too. I don't often write reviews, but Café Els deserves a call out and is highly recommended! We'd definitely come back again if we visit this area.
Really lovely staff, great food and drinks, and the acai bowl was the best we've seen and eaten yet! They were great and left off the peanut butter at the last minute. The chai latte was very sweet (but the sweeter the better) and if you like really sweet jam, then go for the scones. My preference is that the jam was TOO sweet, but I guess it's under desserts for a reason! Would have loved to come back.
Had breakfast here this morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee is always great. It is rare to find good coffee and good food. Great job guys
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
