I had two Black Ice coffees good but a bit light in flavor. I love the outdoor seating with the tree shade and the inside is nice too.
We ordered the chicken burger and the prawn palua and the servings were really generous. The food was sooo good too! The prawns were very fresh and it was good that they had prawns on sides. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends. The highlight was the dog ice cream! All the humans and the pupper enjoyed!
You may want to refinance your home loan before eating here. $9 for a chai latte, $12 for a tiny, average croissant, and the quality doesn’t match the price tag. Service was slow too. Even on a quietish Wednesday morning we had to chase someone down to order. Lovely décor and a kids’ play area, but I won’t be returning unless my lotto numbers come up.
Worst coffee in Newcastle. Horrible beans and horrible barista. It is burnt, bitter and just horrible to drink. We ordered 4 different coffees and they were all disgusting. We all took a few sips and threw them out. Also, I ordered large coffees and this is what they gave us...
This is the second time I've been to Talulah in as many weeks, and I came back for the same dish. As I was seated, I was told that the new spring menu had just been released, so I was immediately disappointed. But little did I know that the chilli scrambled eggs I wanted, were still on the menu, but only better. I was skeptical because you can't improve on perfection. How wrong I was. The new chilli scramble now has even more flavour and a delightfully sweet drizzle. Incredible. I paired breakfast with a good coffee before the eggs, and a watermelon frappe with the meal. I ate it all as slowly as possible. My sincere compliments to Jack, Matt and all the staff, my entire breakfast experience was the best I've ever had. Your attitude to food and service is second to none in Newcastle. I tried to leave a tip but your eftpos machine wouldn't let me. I will be back and look forward to exploring more of the menu.
