Nice little local but has a few issues - very long wait times. The buns are always stale (egg and bacon rolls). The last order we had came without the egg. They graciously offered a refund. Guys we love popping in but please lift your game - it’s not hard to deliver a good bacon and egg roll

I've been coming to this cafe for many years, it has always been a great experience with the food and the service. I'm not normally the type of person to complain, take food back or put up review. However felt quite disappointed after leaving the cafe yesterday. Not sure what happened or if the cafe is under new ownership ? There was a significantly long wait time between my friend receiving their Sweet as acai bowl and myself receiving veg and halloumi club. Completely understand that food takes time to cook as well as it normally more busy on a Sunday. They so made 2 acai bowls ?? Once we received the food and started to eat I notice it just didn't taste as good / the same at it use too .... Half way through I realized there was no hallunmi in it. ( Main part of a vegtable and halloumi club ) I thought about taking the meal back but didn't want to be 'that person'.

The Breaky Burrito here is the perfect balance of texture and flavour. Such a great way to start the day!

Honestly we’re big fans of Akuna. It’s been our go to cafe everytime we’re in the area for years now and up until recently, they’ve never disappointed. The staff who greet us and bring out our food are fabulous. They’re so kind & caring. The drinks are amazing too! Recently though, the food hasn’t been as great. Unsure if you’ve gotten a new chef or something but it’s just gone downhill a little. The last 2 times we’ve gone there my partner has gotten eggs. And both time, neither of them had been runny. Especially yesterday - with one of them exploding before it even reached our table & you could already see how hard it was. I understand that the chefs job is very stressful but just a friendly recommendation - maybe put them on ice while waiting to plate them or even just make them last once everything is plated. Apart from that, we love Akuna and everything they do!
