Baba Yaga is a cafe in Cooks Hill. We don't yet have enough signals to confirm whether dogs are allowed. It's best to check with the venue before visiting with your dog. Just 400m away, Newcastle Civic Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Oscar’s is my favourite face to see on Darby St at the crack of dawn - Nan is the real star of the place though 🤭 best coffee in town! Nan’s homemade treats 🤏🏽🤏🏽
Large coffee was listed as $6.50 which is pretty expensive but the reviews are good so I thought why not. But then I was charged $7.50 for a long black and gave no explanation for why I was being charged more. I don't appreciate this kind of bait and switch tactic.
A pretty solid coffee experience. Elevate coffee was a new one for me, not bad, tastey but not made exceptionally or with apparent care. Though i'd have liked more of an atmosphere. There's no real reason to pick this place with the standard or Darby Street significantly higher.
The best coffee I've had in months, and the haloumi and mushroom brioche was magnificent. We ended up staying after brunch for a second coffee, it was so good. Not too expensive either, and the staff were very friendly.
Absolutely delicious! Great coffee and friendly, fast service. It's so awesome to have a local cafe serving proper gozleme without having to hunt down market stalls and wait forever in lines!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
