Lovely little park on the creek. Toilets and picnic tables. Water can be accessed. You can fish as well. I was very disappointed to see the kids play equipment removed. Hopefully they will put more in. There aren’t many actual playgrounds for kids in the area. You can walk along the side of the creek to the bridge and all the way to the shoreline

Lovely little park that has toilet & BBQ facilities, and ramp access down to the sand / river side.

A nice little place to picnic located on the corner of Fox and Norton St Ballina, looking out over North Creek, lovely view of the bridge, plenty of covered seating and tables, benches, grassy space to play, a basket swing and supernova spinner. Play on the clean sandy river beach, watch the mass soldier crabs, lots of lovely sea bird life, have a fish, a bit of everything. Has a good enough shallow river edge for younger kids to play in water supervised before it gets deeper. 2022/2023 was earmarked for playground upgrades with shade sails.

Always good . Down to earth . Reasonably priced. Don't go for atmosphere or gourmet experience though and the newspapers are all Murdoch rags. At least there are newspapers , something that is sadly lacking in most cafes these days

Such a beautiful tranquil place. Lovely walk after tea.
