Turruwul Park is a park in Rosebery. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Council-listed parks are generally on leash unless marked otherwise. We haven't found venue-specific confirmation for this park, so we've classified dog access as likely. Please check local signs before visiting. Dogs are usually not permitted in playgrounds, on sports courts, or on enclosed ovals.
Nice community park with spacious area including BBQ area, tennis court, football court, kid’s playground, Basketball half court and some basic gym facilities. Dog owners should look after their dog better and take care of the poops so the park is more enjoyable for other people.
Turruwul Park is a wonderful local park. It’s not very big, but it has everything you could need — toilets, a barbecue area, a great playground, a walking path around the park, tennis courts, outdoor gym equipment, a basketball court, a tennis/squash practice wall, a baseball/cricket net, a soccer field, and a couple of water bubblers. There’re also several cafés nearby. A perfect spot for families and active people!
Great spaces for kids to run and play. Sheltered tables and BBQs. Reasonable street parking available . Tennis courts bathroom and other amenities
This park is a 'must visit' for devotees of calisthenics. It is one of the few in Sydney's vast array of parks. Beware the scarcity of parking during business hours, but frees up afterward. If you search for calisthenics coaching, you too can learn a new move or two. Enjoy!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
