Dog rules

All Council reserves that are not off-lead or prohibited are dog on-lead areas. Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person by means of an adequate chain or leash at all times. You are not permitted to walk more than 4 dogs at any one time. Dog owners must remove all dog faeces — fines of $275 apply. This was an absolutely beautiful place. The view cannot be beaten and a swim can be had as well. There is a playground for the kids, BBQ's with seating. The BBQ area and tables is covered for protection on hot days. There is an amenities block for rinsing off and changing after a swim. Everything was very clean. A fantastic place for all the family. There are a couple of tables under the far trees for the romantics.

Nice park, plenty of parking, great to stop for a rest and look at the water, perhaps have lunch. Has a park area for kids. Great spot to walk the beach and enjoy the view. Not far to walk to soldiers point jetty, which is quite a popular fishing spot, also great spot to take photos of the headland from. Quite relaxing, quiet and peaceful area. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely spot by the water for leisurely days, family picnics and swimming in the beautiful calm water. There are toilets located at the park and a variety of takeaway food shops 1km away. The only issue I have is all of the table seating supplied is all old and definitely past it's prime. Some seats had no anchor bolts into the base or concrete, which allowed the seat to tip as it was unbalanced. The seats were narrow so very uncomfortable to sit on for a long period and most importantly there was no shade of any type which I believe is important for councils to supply.

If you want a good little place to watch a moon rise. This is the place to come to. Whilst driving home after watching the sunset, at Sunset Beach, I got to see a new full moon rise here. It was absolutely beautiful.

Lovely spot with a great view! The wind very much helped reduced the heat which was super appreciated, so it was a welcome rest spot. Worth spending a bit of time here, the playarea would work well for children and the young at heart. They've got bathrooms here too, helpful for those who want to spend a decent amount of time here or who are using it as a starting point for a walk up to Kangaroo Point.
