2640 Restaurant and Bar

I was surprised buy the quality of food and coffee. Had the pasta with prawn and chorizo and a strong flat white. The pasta was cooked to perfection with a generous amount of lovely prawns. My strong FW was not burnt, a true test of someone who can make a coffee. Price was not cheap but got what I paid for.

A really disappointing evening. It was extremely loud music that staff couldn't hear what I was saying. Come here often for special nights out in the past with family and loved ones. What a let down... the sliders were dense and had very little sauce making them hard to get down. There was no butter or mayo to moisten the bun that was cold and doughy. The lamb on the Moroccan roast vegetable salad was overcooked tough and chewy and there was no dressing. Disappointing the Headchef Mel is no longer there to ensure the quality of food is maintained. The prices were high considering the quality of the food. I didn't get asked if I enjoyed my meal when i went to pay. I don't think I'll be back. I don't mind paying for a decent enjoyable meal but that wasn't it

Nice little Cafe / Bar tucked away under the Quest Hotel, the staff were superb and the food really tasty 😋 I highly recommend the Zucchini fritters

Absolutely sensational experience here for lunch with the missus, loved everything about our lunch date. Very friendly and very efficient service, prices were very reasonable too. I had the Atlantic Salmon special and the missus had the 2640 burger. Wow! Such top Notch food. Will definitely be back.

Grace made me one of the new Mocktails and it was so good! 10/10 🔥 I think I already found my Summer drink 😍. The service was fast and food was yum 🤤 great juicy Steak 👌
