The external decor at Press Café Bowral is very inviting. Best suited to maximum four people outside anyway. We have a dog so we are always outside. Small awning so if it is drizzly it is ok. Very friendly service. Double espresso pretty good. We get hot milk on the side. Current menu Feb 2026.

Service: The staff was very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated on a busy Friday morning. (We were a group of nine.) As soon as we requested a baby chair, it was provided immediately. The gentleman who took our order was very polite and provided great service. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was great the area was clean, and we loved the Christmas tree. Food: This one’s a bit tough. Although it took a long time for the food to arrive, it was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous for the price. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because we found a dead snail in one of our dishes (the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon under the kale leaf). When we mentioned it to the staff, she laughed at us, and only after we said it was unhygienic did she take it back and bring us another dish.

This place is worth the visit great value for money and the servings for the big breakfast was decent. This place gets busy and if possible get a table outside less noisy. Would come back again when visiting bowral next!

- Crispy Salmon ⭐️ OMG WOW! Indeed crispy salmon served with a creamy sauce and pumpkin puree with delicious broccolini. - Lamb wrap ✨ boyfriend found it alright. Lamb was dry for my liking. Is a burger a roll too now?? - Fries ⭐️ Soooo good!! Perfectly crunchy and satisfied my cravings. Honestly saw the fries on people’s tables when walking by and decided to pop in to try them. - Green and Berry smoothie - forgot I wasn’t a fan of smoothies so I just hated these. It’s just a me thing… ✨ worth trying for yourself ⭐️ I recommend it! Overall: Iconic corner cafe in Bowral. I really recommend the salmon. Nice vibes and friendly staff.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, decent drinks. Unfortunately the lamb was really dry, it was hard to eat without the extra aioli sauce. Wasn’t able to finish because of it. The sweet potato fries was nice though.
