Camden Showground is a park in Camden. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Parks managed by Camden Council are on-leash by default under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. We haven’t been able to confirm from a council source that this specific park is council-managed — it’s likely, but please check on-site signage or contact Camden Council before visiting with a dog.
The showground in everyday life is beautifully kept, dog friendly on leash with a water station by the grandstand. During show time, just before Easter, it is a hive of country show activity.
Great country show All the things at the Easter show only smaller, with parking, smaller crowds, old and new farm equipment There is even a place to sit down for a wine or two
A bit of nostalgia for. Would come here back in the 80's fit All Chrysler Day. Thought I would visit again to check it out, great little town.
We are city slickers who love coming here every year. A great place to get up close and personal with beautiful farm animals, sample a good array of fairground food and you can't help but feel that community spirit when walking around the grounds. It can get pretty hot so make sure you bring lots of sunscreen, wear a hat and drink lots of water! A great family day out and excuse to get out of the city!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
