Barenz

Absolutely deserves the 5 stars - this location gave us such an enjoyable night. First and foremost the service was EXCELLENT. Such a warm and inviting personality from our waitress who was accommodating to all we asked. The food was delicious especially the Popcorn Prawn - WOW. A great range of menu and the decor is comfortable and stylish. Options of indoor and outdoor seating although we chose to sit inside. We were grateful to have gotten a table as we did not book. Would definitely visit this location again.

FOOD FIND ON THE RUN FROM A PUB Now I won't mention which pub in Camden we tried to have lunch in and the food was so bad we had to ask for a refund, as I don't like to trash places in my reviews, but I'm glad it happened as it lead us to Barenz. We were seated in the open window front, where you can sit and watch the world go by, whilst , in my case, sipping on a cocktail and eating the most amazing, fresh and tasty seafood. I had the popcorn prawns and trio of sliders. One slider was lamb, the other a hamburger and a halumi slider. To absolutely die for. I watched as other dishes were bought out to other tables, and I must say the pizza looked amazing. I must try for my next visit. There is a cocktail menu, but I was made a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, a midori splice, my absolute favourite, and it was no trouble at all. The staff are fast, extremely friendly, welcoming, and absolutely made my experience that much better. There are two gentle levels of seating, by which I mean there is a gentle sloping ramp (wheelchair accessible) up to the second floor were there is more seating and lounges available to sit at, and you'll also find the toilets up there. Fully licensed with a great array of beers on tap. The food is so good. The first thing I always do when sitting in a restaurant is look to make sure I have salt on the table as alot of places i go to, the food and chips are always so under seasoned, which isn't a bad thing, it's just my pallet. But the chef here seasoned everything I ate so beautifully there was no need to add anything. 10/10 – Absolutely Amazing! We had our engagement party at Barenz Camden over the weekend, and it was honestly perfect from start to finish. Their communication and organisation were spot on — everything was seamless, and they made the whole planning process so easy (Thank you Lauren). The staff on the night were incredible, making sure everything ran smoothly and that all our guests were looked after. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the vibe was exactly what we wanted. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best night possible. Couldn’t recommend them more! P.S we had about 90 people there and had more than enough room with the beer garden space and inside room. Thank you again Barenz and staff !!

Service was great, friendly staff. The food was a bit of a hit and miss. The steak was tasteless & the pulled pork was extremely dry. (All the other food we ordered was delicious!) We ordered a jug of sangria. However, the $40 jug was extremely weak. Cocktails were amazing!

We recently had our wedding reception in the function room of Barenz. We absolutely loved it. The service was top class, very friendly and helpful and supportive. The food was delicious and there was so much available that many of our guests were able to take home leftovers. The space is intimate but not too cramped. It made our wedding day very enjoyable!
