Saint Nicks Patisserie is a cafe in Camden with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 150m away, Camden Memorial Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
First time here and what I figured out rather quickly is that the cakes and pastries are the absolute stars here. We ordered a hamburger and chips , a Turkey wrap, small cappuccino and coke, no sugar. It was nice food, but would I be racing back for the lunch menu, probably not, but it was acceptable, and absolutely nothing to complain about. But I would be running back for the cakes and pastries. They are the heroes for this cafe. Also It's a lovely spot to catch up with a friend for a chat over coffee and cake. Very friendly staff. There is no table service, you order at the counter and they will bring your food out to you. Indoor and outdoor seating Wheelchair accessible parking and entry
Our first visit to this shop during a drive from Sydney. Friendly service. We shared a vanilla slice, apple crumble and the lemon cheesecake. Wow - all so delicious. I can easily say better than some high end Sydney patisseries.
Oh my god the coffee eclairs are to die for if you are a coffee lover i got onto these because alot of cake shops just make the chocolate now but after posting on fb were I could get coffee ones 20 people said go here . So today when looking at a shop on camden a review popped up about this place to write a review so a month ago I went in there they had a few coffee eclairs they were the best I have ever had been italian i bought a few took them home my family and friends loved them. Why I was there there i seen a strawberry croissant which I have never had at first I was not sure I bought one I came home and cut it up into 4 pieces again my neighbours were over I gave them to try honestly they were so good I drove back down as the neighbours wanted 4 and I wanted 3. They were so filling the strawberry cream inside was a big generous amount never seen this . I had a cake like this in las vegas a croissant in a hotel there that was a replica of Paris the hotel itself inside looks like Paris they sold beautiful cakes. So before Christmas I rang to order but I left it to late. I have never had a strawberry croissant like this it was amazing. Honestly gone of are the days of the boaring croissants I have not seen anyone in sydney sell strawberry croissants and I go to alot of cake shops . I highly recommend this shop as all there cakes are beautiful and made with love. Im heading back down there tomorrow . I will add photos. Next time het down and ask fr strawberry croissants if you love strawberry cream and one can feed 2 people if your a coffee lover i suggest try there eclairs. I have tryed them around all these areas they dont make them anywere as I kniw why . The wont be as good as this shops cakes. Thank you for giving me one no 2 cakes that remind me of Vegas. And so tasteful.
I was early for an appointment in the area so I had a walk around town and thought I would have some breakfast at St Nicks Patisserie. I paid for my meal and sat down. At the counter, I told the lady that I had a takeaway coffee cup from elsewhere which I bought on my way to the appointment, but I was ordering food. There wasn’t any issue. I sat down. The lady called out to me from the table and said my order was ready to pick up. It was packaged up in a box. I said that I was dining in. She said that I can’t drink my coffee in the cafe even if I have ordered food. I understand the reasoning behind this, but I wish this was communicated to me before I ordered food and paid money, as I would not have eaten there otherwise. I am disappointed with the way this was handled, as it could have easily been avoided. I didn’t feel welcome after I paid money. Very poor and misleading customer service.
Years ago there was a bakery at the Five Ways intersection at Eastwood called Willy’s. They used to have the best meat pies in Sydney. When they closed, my quest to find a pie to equal Willy’s started. My quest ended today when I had a plain meat pie from Saint Nick’s Patisserie. Their plain meat pie is perfection; wonderfully flaky pastry top, thin layer (but not too thin) cup for the meat, and the meat filling was delicious. Of course the pie has to be right on the edge of being too hot - you can’t just hook into it; you’ve got to take care and savour every little bite so you don’t burn your tongue - exactly how a meat pie should be. Well done Saint Nicks, I know where to find my pie fix now!
