Under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998, dogs must be kept on a lead and under the effective control of a competent person, and are prohibited within 10 metres of children's play equipment and food preparation areas. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated off-leash areas.

Great local park with lots of sun and shade. The play equipment itself is good for little ones. Has a baby/toddler swing seat and regular swing seat. It can get quite muddy in the wet however there is a path around the play equipment. There is also free playgroup ran here on Wednesdays.

Beautiful place, good for kids. Lots of memories here. Restrooms are nasty though.

Great place to walk, ride your bike or bring a rug & find a quiet spot to relax, we walked & spoke with others, we also sat on the grass twice to relax & enjoy the scenery, lots of benches & tables & great seating that overlook the river, also saw people fishing from the river
