Brancourt Park

Dogs likely welcome

Brancourt Park is a park in Bankstown. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.

Dog rules

–Canterbury-Bankstown City Council's "Pet-friendly parks and reserves" page states: "please remember to keep your dog on a leash unless the reserve is classified as a 'dog off-leash area'." The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Great place to relax and let the kids play but the council need to clean the seating area with the shade look like some smudge dirt or coal all over the seats and table.

Nice but too quite

There are lots of scope to promote this site. It requires more sitting arrangements, gym and drinking water facilities. Playing tools are also not quite enough.

Ok park to go out for a quick hang out with the little guy.. the equipment needs maintenance, specially the swings that sound like they haven’t been looked at in years. The grass isn’t mowed on a regular basis. But what I like the most about the park is that it’s generally very quiet.

Smaller playground and very quiet. Could have been great if it would have not been overlooked by council. Benches seems never clean! Playground is also not cleaned. Plastic bottles, cigarette buts, coals all over the playground. It desperately needs council attention so that little kids can enjoy and play here.
