What people say
Amazing top coffee, charming atmosphere and even better service! We are regular customers and everything we tried has been fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend it!
Been here twice. First visit was really good: cafe was clean, good customer service, and drinks made perfectly. Very disappointed coming here the second time though. I ordered a thick shake and iced matcha latte. They tried to pass off a milkshake as a thickshake when I initially inquired about it. Matcha latte also tasted like milk and water, and the powder was not properly whisked in (there were bits of powder floating and not dissolved). I usually give a pass given matcha is not a popular cafe drink, but this was non-drinkable and is the worst among all cafes I've been too. The smell in the cafe was also quite bad. Overall rated a 2 since I had a very pleasant first experience, but the second unfortunately turned me off from being a regular customer.
I came here last week, the service was great and drinks were good (from the girl who is quite chirpy). Ordered a milkshake and iced chai. This week, the same girl took our order but a different crew was in the back . We ordered a Thickshake chocolate and Matcha (1:47pm). She then went on break and other members of staff made the drink. They made the wrong drink - a milkshake instead of a thickshake and tried to pretend it was a thickshake. When we told them, they added one scoop of ice cream to the same drink and gave it back instead of making it properly. Tasted fine so I didnt complain a second time. The matcha drink my wife ordered was so bad we just left it. I got her an iced chai from last week to compare if it was just the drinks or staff making the drinks. This was also subpar compared to the week before meaning it was the staff. I'd like to give the place one more chance but it sucks to see that variations in staff can really ruin the experience. I think the first experience was great but the second experience makes it unreliable as a regular option.
Absolutely love this place. The staff are always polite, professional, and make you feel genuinely welcome every time you walk in. The coffee is consistently smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. And the food? First class. Fresh ingredients, great portions, and everything I’ve tried has been full of flavour. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Easily one of my favourite spots. Highly recommend.
