Would probably sit this one at like 3.7 at the moment but only because we plan on returning to properly try their in house meals. We came near closing so was only able to do takeaway. The service here was friendly and there were some communication issues but they did their best to help explain what they have. Food was pretty decent and I had their hot chocolate which was quite unique. Had cheese inside and I’m not sure if I was meant to eat it after I finish the chocolate because it didn’t taste that great at the end. Will return for a sit down.

Always been the best Latin American cuisine ever! The team, the food! Everything ✨ Always happy to be met by the friendly staff and amazing Colombian food. Very nostalgic for expats, and a delicious new experience for locals. Open from Early til late, Oscuro is a must-try for everyone! 🙌

we came here for a spontaneous latin breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! 😊 this place has a local and comforting vibe and is conveniently placed near the train station. not only do they serve authentic latin cusine but they have snacks as well. we had the arepa and frijolada which was a new and interesting experience. 💃🏻 they frijolada was full of flavour and blended well with the different elements. we really enjoyed the bean soup! all the different elements on the plate went well with each other. the arepa was good however we felt it was missing a bit of salt/seasoning. the pork was cooked perfectly and was super tender. the sauce on the side was delicious! even though the dishes were made in a tiny kitchen, it was scrumptious. we also tried the inca cola which was a fun and unique drink to go with our brekky. it was a little on the pricey side but it definitely felt authentic! the staff are so friendly and accommodated us very well. thank you!

I love love love this place. It really IS the best Latin cafe in Sydney. Every dish is so delicious and coffee is amazing. Highly recommend Caldo De Costilla. We hope this business can grow bigger and move to a bigger place.
