Best acai I’ve ever had :’)) great coffee and sandwiches too. Love Rebecca and the team !!
Had a great experience at Hot Stone Cafe in Chullora. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. We tried the Malatang Sichuan Dry Mix which had a bold, spicy kick and was something different and delicious. The Tropical Frappe was super refreshing with mango, pineapple, passionfruit and ice, perfect for a summer day. The Veggie Plate was a standout with halloumi, avocado, wild mushrooms, hashbrown, roast tomato, spinach, egg and toast. The Zesty Smashed Avocado on Sourdough with poached eggs, cherry tomato, Danish feta, seeds and dukkha was also spot on. The Scotch Fillet Steak was cooked well and paired nicely with mushroom sauce, chips and salad. The Portuguese Chicken Burger with house made peri sauce was juicy, spicy and satisfying. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality halal food in a cozy cafe setting.
Malatang in Chullora? Gotta love it! Nice ambience and friendly service. The selection is perfectly sized bearing in mind it is a cafe. We got the spicy ox bone and mushroom soup and both will tasty and savoury. Filling and well priced. Will definitely be back!
Totally loved the fresh Malatang with the tomato soup base — super tangy and fragrant! Tried the Açaí bowl for the first time too, and it was awesome. The mix of açaí, peanut sauce, nuts, and fruit made it such a fun treat for me and my kid. Plus, the service was great — really friendly and helpful owner and staff that made us feel welcome!
I like that this place has a lot of seating, a variety of brunch dishes and it’s all quite affordable compared to other cafes. I highly recommend trying their burgers, taro pancakes and acai bowls/soft serves. The texture and flavour of the acai is so yummy and great value for money!
