What people say
Good quiet place for picnic. Rough path drive entry spacious parking. Roughly 4 tables for picnics with 2 grillers Water available to use. Public toilet is a mystery in regards of sanitary
This experience was my first time being here with the social groups seeing houses & people fishing here as well as a good spot to play only negative with many of us though the only problem was parking slots was difficult for the van to reverse into the parking lots. Can have a BBQ with friends & family with seated benches to see the view of the seaside with the amazing bridge look on the far side. One of the best moments so far including toilets as well. Have our morning tea although we didn’t go for a walk instead played badminton with friends enjoying the sunshine on a great day outdoors. It was wet grass when we arrived here if you see the puddles then stay away from it. Definitely would come back again in the future. Getting here by public transport can vary depending on the distance being travelled to & from the Reserve.
This is a very good area for Picnic and evening walking. You can do fishing, BBQ and has playground for kids as well as few gym equipments for elderly people. Has a wooden sidewalk beside the Georges River for walking and jogging which is enjoyable.
Located at Henry Lawson Drive & Lambeth Street, Picnic Point, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a beautiful place on the Georges River to come to for a picnic and for the family to have a get together. There’s good BBQ facilities and toilet facilities and tables and chairs . The view of the river is absolutely stunning and the walk along the trail along the river is wonderful. It’s a great walk. A family could have a really lovely day here. Thumbs Up!
A lovely spot by the Georges River. Easy access, limited parking. Shady and picturesque walking paths/boardwalk - wheelchair/pram suitable. Didn't require or see a toilet block but expect there is one. Nice open grassed areas for a picnic but not much shade. Average playground - more suited to 5 - 10 year olds though there were plenty of toddler swings. Not comfortable with the proximity of the adult gym equipment to the playground. That's a nasty child related accident waiting to happen.
