Alan Ashton Foreshore Reserve is a park in Picnic Point. Dogs are generally allowed on a lead in NSW public parks unless signs say otherwise — but the rules here aren't confirmed, so check local signage before visiting.
Nice little place for a quick gateway / picnic. Possible to find free parking but most parking costs $8 for the day per car.
Calm and quiet place for fishing and relaxing. A long stretch river side walkway is the ultimate spot of joggers and nature lovers. Ample parking for cars and trailers. Best time to go: Sunny days
Cool place to take photos on a clear night. sky was gorgeous as were the lights on the water. Solid foreshore walking track, some reflectors on it wouldn't go astray though ✌️
Really nice walkways and a lovely area to be enjoyed by all peoples. This isn't the first time I have been here and definitely won't be the last.
Real gem close to my home. Walk in nature, close to river, road surrounded by tree and rock. What you can want more? I was really enjoying this place yesterday with my familly. Calm and peacefull place, ideal for weekend with friends and family. Close picnic area and playground. Sometimes can be difficult find car park as not much space.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
