XS Espresso Revesby

Had an early dinner today with my partner and 2.5 yr daughter. Food was DELICIOUS. Has the sirloin, Boss burger and kids pasta. Boss burger (minus the bacon) was the best burger I have ever tasted. The sirloin with Veg, to die for. Compliments to the chefs and the baristas for the mocha Frappe. Coming back for sure!!!!

Nashville tenders surpassed my expectations. No chips? No problem. They compensate perfectly with these huge delicious tenders where the skin would fall off more than I wanted, more bread than the standard, and a bigger sauce. Would definitely try again but the the person serving me really needs to wake up. Also, let people look at the menu without staring them down, no one wants that pressure when ordering.

I have been to this place many times in the past and it used to be nice. But today, everything looked different in a negative way. Service was poor, no cutlery was given. When it was given, stuff was missing in cutlery packs. I kept waiting at the counter to place order but no one was bothered. Mushroom burger was the worst I ever had. It had a big blob of fried mushroom instead of a patty with oil dripping all over the bun. See pics. Scrabbled eggs were runny. Fresh juice was extremely sweet. Staff was careless and the place looked unhygienic. Please avoid this it if you can.

After several visits, Revesby is consistently average. There’s always an issue. Either lacking ingredients so they can’t fulfil the full order, they make a mistake and leave things out, or the dish is just poor quality. To the contrary. Menai is consistently amazing. We’ve never had an issue there and will be making it our go to, despite being further away and Revesby being our local. Last night we ordered the Angus Sirloin and tenders. Tenders were great, though the steak was overcooked (waitress acknowledged this and apologised). The mushroom sauce was cold. Not even room temp or warm. I wasn’t prepared to eat a cold steak whilst they took away my sauce to heat it up. Check the photos. Steak was as lame as it looks. Sorry Revesby. We have you the benefit of the doubt time and time again. Times up.

We had lunch there and ordered chicken and chips (mushroom gravy is highly recommended), chicken waffle, Atlantic Salmon, prawn n halloumi pasta. All of the foods we ordered are super tasty especially the pasta. Their coffee is one of the best in town. Even we've got a birthday cake surprise by the owner. Very kind..
