Myles Dunphy Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Oatley. Just 200m away, Salwa's Garden Lebanese Restaurant is a nearby spot to stop in after your walk.
Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in this park. Under Georges River Council policy, dogs are permitted on-leash in public places except in designated leash-free areas; this park is listed on Council's Park and Reserve Facilities directory and is not a designated off-leash area.
If you look closely you’ll see the endangered shopping trolley in an unfamiliar territory as it try’s to hide from predators as it camouflages it’s self as best it can
A delightful bush walk that's both beautiful and easy to do. There are a few access points to reach the reserve, we parked on River road near the old bowling club. Such a great walk to do with young kids too. My toddler absolutely thrived. It's one of those spots where you can't believe you are in the heart of Sydney suburbia because this is such lush bush land. A true locals secret and another of Sydney's Secret places. Enjoy the vegetation as its home to some threatened wildlife and plant communities. The reserve & wetlands are one of the most significant nature areas in the Hurstville local government area which is why so many locals are passionate about protecting/preserving it.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
