Fantastic barista - always makes my cappuccino just perfect - open late and never disappointed in the coffee or tea that I order
My friends & I came to the club for dinner. But this time was very disappointed with the Bistro food. The Steak was dry (like old stock). No acknowledgement for the poor quality of the dish & offered an alternative dish when we spoke to the bistro. The cheesecake was not fresh, texture was soggy. The lava fondant was dry & no melting chocolate. All the food was left overs from Xmas. I hope management takes note of this poor experience.
A nice surburban club with a better than average bistro. If you are looking for a reasonably priced lunch and passing by then drop in. The bistro has recently changed owners. The food was just as good as the previous one. The coffee and cake is OK too.
This isn't the first time I've been here. But it will be the last. The food service is super slow. The portions are small. The prices are high. It took 45 min to get my lunch today. When I notified the woman at the door that they need more food runners because my food was sitting with 10 other dishes under the warmers, she dismissed all responsibility and said the restaurant isn't associated with the RSL and they let them do their own thing (her words). I got mine in a to go container as I had to go back to work.
A decent and well managed RSL in Oatley, I went their during a weekday afternoon, not much people in the dining area, but people looked relaxed and submerged in the lovely weather and slow life style vibe. An enjoyable sunny afternoon with light summer breeze and a pint of ice cold beer, I will not trade it for anything else.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
