Amazing sandwiches! Would easily compare this with some of my favorites from NYC and Melbourne. Got to try both the grilled chicken and triple mushroom, both were perfectly cooked and had so much flavor. Thankfully it’s close by, because I’ll be returning often, if you get the chance to try it the 7 hour slow cooked pulled pork Reuben is SO GOOD! Also: If you are gluten free you can ask for no bread, chef is very knowledgeable about every ingredient used!

This sandwich shop is an absolute gem. The gentleman that runs the store is incredibly caring, polite, and genuinely kind - you can tell he truly loves what he does. He always goes above and beyond, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is always delicious, tasty and fresh. The menu has a great variety and the sandwiches fill you up. There’s also a great range of sweet treats. Exceptional service and amazing food - highly recommend.

What a hidden gem. Got the pulled pork Reuben, triple mushroom and mini deli. Very delicious sandwiches. Coffee was also great. Staff were warm and friendly. Recommended.

Had breakfast at Sandwich Lab Rockdale yesterday with my husband and a couple of friends after our workout, and we were beyond impressed! We tried the Nutella pocket, grilled chicken sandwich, and brekky loaded roll, all were absolutely delicious and well balanced. We’ve ordered mocha and iced latte as well and they were just as good! What stood out the most though was the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff. It’s rare to find great food and great service together these days, but Sandwich Lab has both. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

As someone fully on board with the sandwich era (and a frequent sandwich shop visitor), I can confidently say Sandwich Lab is a standout favourite. The menu hits that sweet spot between creativity and comfort—every sandwich feels carefully crafted, not just thrown together. The ingredients were fresh, the bread was spot-on, and the flavour combinations actually deliver. Bonus points for great coffee too—smooth and well made, not just an afterthought. Rockdale is lucky to have this gem, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for any fellow sandwich lover
