Food was a let down for me. Just something wasn't right about this crispy pork roll. The meat is pre chopped along with the crispy skin and maybe thats why the meat was very chewy and dry. They also add extra pork crackling to the banh mi which I feel overpowers the taste of the ingredients a bit too much. The chicken drummettes were also a little bit of a let down as it was not as flavourful as I would have expected and not crispy either.
Absolute gem of a joint! Mouth watering banh mi's and vermicelli bowls. Can get busy during the rush periods but definitely worth the wait! The Roast pork is to die for!
definitely a local favourite spot! very interesting to have some chilli oil in the banh mi, personally find the soy sauce a bit too sweet, roasted pork was very nice layered and with balanced seasoning, would come back if i live nearby :D
I was skeptical about the rating, but this is definitely in my top 3 banh mi spots in Sydney! Crispy baguette, generous pâté, well-balanced sweetness and chili in the pickles and sauce, crunchy pork crackling, and delicious roast pork. I must come back!
5/5 stars absolutely delicious fresh food & coffee. The Bahn mi pork rolls are incredible. Very good prices and the owners are lovely hard working people. This place is great for lunch
