What people say
Great swimming with the shark net for peace of mind. The beach is nestled among beautiful trees and well-maintained grounds. It's also a paradise for parents, you can watch the little ones enjoying a splash in the small pond under the shade sails.
Very good park with waterplay for kids, lots of shade and water is clean. Toilet facility is well kept too. We visited when the temperature was 34 degrees but with shade and water it felt very nice and cool. Water is shallow around ankle height and mid calf at the deepest, suitable for crawling babies and older kids as there is also a big slide. Definitely recommend and will return again.
Pretty park with trees and grand harbour views. I noticed people were fishing here and there was a small netted off swimming area. There was also a large kids playground, toilets and places to sit.
It’s in such a good location near the water with kids water slide and pond but whole place needs a facelifts. Look like it is under council’s renovation. Too many rubbish bins blocking good view to the water. It could be a great park in the area.
Good to see the new 'beach' for the first time. Looks like a safe way to swim in the river as it's netted. Today was overcast so only one person there. The general park area is nice, with various amenities, play areas and even a coffee cart in the carpark.
