Dwyer Park is a well-regarded dog-friendly park in Wakeley where dogs are welcome on lead.
Dogs must be under the effective control of a competent person at all times (maximum 4 dogs per person). Dogs must be on a lead when outside designated off-leash areas. Dog owners must dispose of dog droppings in the bins provided. Dogs declared menacing, dangerous, or a restricted breed are prohibited in off-leash areas. Good to relax or dog walk or work out with ur own gym tools or whatever. But no bbq on park.
It's an open area for both walking and cycling with a really small playground for the kids. If you're looking for a good play area for the kids you're better off going to the one in Fairfield Showground.
The park itself is ok. There's a nice walking/riding track. Nice open area but my only gripe with this park is the tiny kids playground. I believe this park would be a lot more popular if they made it more kids friendly.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
