Not a bad dog park, but maybe a bit too close to houses? The person from 7 Townsville Road threaten my dog and I to leave, as my dog was barking when playing with another dog. It was 4pm, and the other dog owner also reason with the person and says it’s a dog park, nevertheless they still threaten me to leave. I didn’t want to cause trouble so I did. I checked back on the sign of the park, and does not mention anything about barking, but does mention causing nuisance to other dogs and dog owners. However my dog was not aggressive nor causing nuisance, and the other owner was happy with how our dogs were playing. So a bit disappointed with this particular grumpy neighbour of 7 Townsville Road :( I’m not sure how you can live next to a dog park and expect no barks.

Small enclosed dog park. Not bad with 2 nice trees and a seat to sit on. Small area but long enough to run. The bigger park next to it can be used. Nobody there so you can unofficially go offleash. Watch out for the canal whennit rains heavy

Huge grass areas, well maintained, good footpaths, plenty of trees, rarely saw litter, respected, has a large fenced off leash area for dogs which is also well maintained. The grass in some areas had prickly grass, so not good for the dogs paws. Other than that, love this reserve!!

My local area in beautiful Wakeley. What's more to say but 5 stars. Great for bike rides with family and if you are extra keen bring a football to kick around as its surrounded by 2 football (soccer) fields.
