The Burwood Hotel is a pub where dog access has not yet been confirmed — it's worth checking before you visit.
Completely revamped Burwood Hotel into a Malatang Restaurant. Fresh produce to choose from and the kitchen transforms it into a soup, stir-fry or Laksa. A very clean restaurant with a great variety of produce to choose from. You collect the produce, meat and noodles in your bowl and hand it in for cooking. Wow the flavours are extraordinary and filling. A must try.
They have recently launched their Malatang and they are absolutely 💯 I highly Recomended as their options are wide and the vibes of Malatang. Too many options to choose from and you will definitely enjoy your kind of Malatang here.
The topping selection is super diverse — heaps of veggies, meats, fish cakes, plus options like koujia and chicken rolls, which I loved. It gives a “healthy but not really” vibe and I’m here for it. The soup base is very legit. I got the signature soup and my husband got the ox bone soup — and not gonna lie, his looked SO good I was lowkey jealous. That ox bone broth was rich and comforting, but the signature was also really solid. Both bowls were full of flavour and very satisfying. Eating a hot, custom malatang bowl on a hot day sounds crazy, but it hits different. If you’re craving something warm, comforting, and customisable, this is 100% worth checking out. Will definitely be back.
Great happy hour selection ($6.80 beers), lovely decor, friendly service. Connected to Chinatown markets which is really handy - you can order stuff from there to your table
Perfect spot to unwind after work and stretch out the weekend with my partner! The vibe was great, with live music adding to the atmosphere. Food was way better than I expected, the fried chicken stood out the most, super juicy and honestly just as good as the ones from Korean places.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
