Strathfield Square is a well-regarded dog-friendly park. You'll find drinking water nearby, while Barone is less than 100 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee.
Dogs must be kept on a leash in all Strathfield parks other than the designated leash free areas.
A nice peaceful square with a pretty water fountain. Their Christmas decorations are very sweet.
Great spot for a post-dinner chill session! It’s a perfect meeting point since it’s right near the train station, bus stops, and plenty of restaurants. Note that there are no restrooms on-site, but Strathfield Plaza is just a short walk away if you need it. Best visited between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM for a relaxed atmosphere with friends.
Beautiful square just outside Strathfield station. Nice decorations and lighting during the year end period. Evening illuminations are beautiful and colourful. The square is surrounded by a number of shops including cafes and restaurants.
A more functional and spacious square I have not seen. It's the kind of place you can sit while watching the sunset and still feel like your time is not wasted while waiting for friends.
At the southern end of Strathfield Square you’ll find the memorial for the seven victims who were killed during a massacre in August 1991. The memorial has a plaque on the ground, and a tree just behind the plaque. The memorial can be found directly opposite the Gloria Jeans cafe. This memorial is easy to access and is wheelchair friendly.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
