The first thing you notice when walking in is the heavy smell of cigarettes. The kids playground was “out of order” and there was no kids menu available. The high chairs were absolutely filthy. Beyond disgusting. I ordered barramundi. The barramundi was well overcooked and somehow still didn’t have a crispy skin. One end was dry and shriveled. It was topped with capers, which I hate and wasn’t mentioned on the menu, The vegetables were basically raw. I get just blanching them which I like, but these weren’t even like that, they were also cold. We also ordered the steak, cooked medium, it was like a piece of charcoal on the plate. The chorizo prawn pasta, was completely tasteless, it didn’t have a sauce, just it was just oily and bland. I would say if you are desperate for a meal, choose the pizza, it’s kind of okay. The whole place is like they have given up. Sad really.
On Friday my friend came to your restaurant at 8:06pm and ordered the steak worth $39 - sat down to eat it. Came back and the steak was gone - I'm quite upset about that - that I paid for food that I wasn't allowed to have. I've raised it with the hotel. The Manager said raise it with the head office - so I'm $39 down because of you's. I can provide the receipt but this is not how you should treat customers. If I came into your hotel and stole something you'd call the police - you stole off me so why can't I call the police on you's. Kind Regards, Adam Watson
What a let down. Menu online is from 18mths ago and new menu is very limited and bland. Ordered Wedges and was given Sweet Potato Fries, ordered Ham on Pizza and arrived with Bacon. When questioned, was told sorry no Ham or Wedges, so they just assumed these alternatives would be acceptable. Seems new owners have no intentions on improving as when told the menu is incorrect on-line, they agreed and shrugged their shoulders. Look at dates of reviews before chosing this place...
Amazing and friendly staff remember customers after just once . So friendly will miss them. Check them out meals are generous amount, seperate areas to chill and vibes pool tables awesome for a date night through week and a couple quiet ones 🥰🥰🥰 Newly renovated Cheap drinks happy hours
Having visited a couple of times in the past I stopped going due to a lack of atmosphere, poor quality food, and limited beer options. I once visited on a Friday evening at 11pm and my wife and I were the only patrons. Having seen the pub was under new management I visited again and sadly other than some new neon lights and a pool table nothing appears to have changed. Again I was the only patron using the bar. ° The bar area smelt very heavily of smoke. ° the TV was on very loud, drowning out the music and conversation. ° The beer selection is very limited. I provided feedback directly with the pub but didn't receive any acknowledgement, so posting it here so the management along with others benefit from it.
