Nelson’s by the Park Burwood

Steak dish was average; not a fan of cut up steak. Tried only the sausage of the bangers and mash dish; fairly good size of sausage but taste was so so. My kid had big breakfast and didn't like it, didn't even finish the toast. I had the mushrooms and was a tad too salty. I liked the sausage of the big breakfast though, there's a crispy edge to it.

Nice place for breakfast and coffee, the menu for lunch is good and reasonably priced. Small breakfast menu though. Staff are polite and venue is clean and quiet.

Wow - I'm visiting Sydney from Queensland's Gold Coast, staying in Burwood...& a couple of dips away from my hotel is this absolute gem of a place... seriously excellent eggs benny, with a very tasty Truffle-Infused Hollandaise sauce... a real bargain for the top quality ingredients for $18..! (And being a French Lady, THIS Hollandaise is excellent..!) The coffee is smooth, strong & creamy, made with Will & Co coffee beans... I simply cannot fault the staff too; friendly & smiles, they made me feel so welcome... Visit this Café & enjoy real food cooked very well..!

Had an egg & bacon roll and iced long black. Surprisingly amazing!! It was warm and crispy. I always have a pastry & iced long black at Starbucks in the morning before heading to work, but now I would visit here by adding only $2 and feel warm and full 🤤 and it's open from 6:45 am (should be okay to visit at 7am) so it's perfect timing for me :)

New or revamped restaurant where Coronation Club is/was in Burwood Road. Staff were friendly and informative. My friends and I caught up and had dinner here. The place had such a pleasant atmosphere and felt that we were looked after. FOOD Garlic Ciabatta - didn't really taste the garlic, but the bread was nice. Camembert - was good! Really enjoyed this entree. It would be nice if the cheese were more melted. Mixed Green Salad - It was nice, but there was too much dressing that the salad was literally wilted. Also, they must've sprinkled more salt on top cos the first mouthful was extremely salty. Wild Mushroom Tortellini - was different and tasty! Tagliatelle - again, different but also nice. Angus Scotch Fillet - cooked to perfection. The way I like it. Medium rare and it was done properly. I'll definitely come back and try the other dishes in the menu.
