Probably 4 1/2 stars really. Best food I've had in Evans Head. Can highly recommend the dukkah topped eggs. (Before and after photos included.) Rocket must have been picked that morning it was so fresh. Main down side is that it's tucked in the dip behind a small hill and you don't get the sea view or more importantly breeze, to convert the morning sun. This is despite the location. Service was efficient but not overly friendly. Prices were good.
Food was extremely greasy and inedible. Service was slow, tables dirty, dined next to several dirty plates on the tables next to us. Last time I came here I enjoyed the food, unfortunately only ate a few bites this time.
The best burger I’ve had since arriving in Australia — even compared to places in Sydney. Friendly and welcoming service, fair prices, and the perfect spot right by the ocean. It doesn’t get any better than this. Highly recommend!
Great cafe on the beach . Coffee is great , my egg & bacon roll was amazing. Do yourself a favour and come down early morning and watch the surf roll in. You will not regret it
