Tuesday Lunch Special - 250g Rump, Chippies and Salad and sauce and a schooner of beer for $25! Bargain! The steak was juicy and tender. I want to go back here. Lovely pub!
I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice pub by central station! I went on pizza night and had a delicious pizza and watched a Fun game of trivia. I will definitely be back as the vibe was great and the staff were friendly.
Often a steak special can be a bit underwelming. Not here, great taste, cooked to perfection. Yum. Enjoy.
It may be a bar but the food is excellent with daily specials. The Saturday schnitzel was excellent - I like it being a little thick and meaty. Mash with vegetables are light and healthy. Garlic prawns add on was excellent as well. Staff has no issue with us sharing the food. Apologies for the photo of the almost eaten dish.
I dropped by Great Southern Bar and had a nice, relaxed time. The atmosphere was casual and lively, with plenty of seating and a good mix of people. Staff were friendly, and drink service was quick. A solid spot to grab a drink and unwind in the city.
