Green Moustache has been a regular for me for years. The experience starts before you even arrive; the lift is lined with bold, photo-worthy wallpaper that is loud & fun and great for a predinner selfie for the ‘Gram! I love the atrium style rooftop: lush indoor plants, fairy lights woven through the greenery & a soft glow that gives the whole venue a whimsical, garden-party vibe that works just as well for a long bottomless lunch as it does for a night out. The food is consistently good value, especially if you lean into the set menus, bottomless brunch, or their special event dining. The menu has range without feeling scattered. Fresh seafood like ceviche fish, BBQ-grilled prawns, and plump oysters with vinaigrette sit comfortably alongside chicken, lamb, steak, inventive salads and a few simple pastas, and there are genuinely good vegetarian options. I often choose the veg dishes because they’re treated with real care, not as an afterthought. We spent 25/26 New Year’s Eve here; it was low key but still fun, with a great drinks package, good food (always decent serving sizes!), a pumping DJ, and a champagne tower that kicked the night up a notch! They also do events well year-round, from themed meals to cocktail menus created in partnership with alcohol brands, keeping things feeling fresh. Add in the setting, the value, and the consistency, it’s why Green Moustache remains a favourite.

We celebrated my 40th birthday at Green Moustache, and it was absolutely amazing! The venue was beautiful and matched my theme perfectly, the food was delicious, and the service from the entire team was exceptional. Everything felt seamless from start to finish, and the staff were so helpful and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make my celebration extra special. I’m so grateful to have hosted such a memorable milestone here — highly recommend!

Fantastically located restaurant on 100 Miller st, North Sydney. Good ambience and fancy bar. Food was a slight disappointment. The focaccia although served in a perfect rectangle, was too hard and lacked fluffiness. The highlight was the Green Mo Curry with rice which came with perfectly cooked pumpkin and gailan. The curry sauce was delicious however it was let down by dry and stale rice shaped to please the eyes but not the tongue. The market fish was barramundi which was perfectly cooked. The truffle potatoes was hard to go wrong with and came out as expected. Crispy crunchy skin with generous flakes of truffle. Having tried these four dishes I would only recommend having the truffle potatoes and Green Mo Curry again.

I really enjoyed the decor and outdoor ambiance. Since it was a scorching day, we decided to sit indoors in the air conditioning. The oysters and seafood pasta were delicious, and the steak paired perfectly with a few glasses of wine on our date night.

Had a great time here with the team. The food was excellent, and a big plus is that they serve halal chicken and beef. The place has a really nice vibe and is very well set up. It was a very warm day, so the inside did feel a bit warm as well — but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. The standout dish for me was the market fish (barramundi) — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside. Would definitely recommend!
