The Orchard Hotel

Ann, The Orchard Hotel Events Manager, helped plan a private function in The Hideaway. It was a special memorial luncheon. Ann and her staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The function, with about 35 guests, ran smoothly. Audio visual equipment was supplied. After speeches and video replays the Bistro meals were ordered and arrived promptly. It was an excellent choice of venue. Very close to public transport.

We arranged a ‘celebration of life’ function in The Hideaway to honour our work colleague and about thirty people attended. It was a great success and we were most impressed by the terrific support provided by restaurant manager Ann and the waiting staff. We connected the big screen to a laptop for some video presentations, a PA system was provided and the service for food and drinks was prompt and most efficient. The guests all enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue and commented on what a successful afternoon it was. Many thanks to Ann for making it such an excellent experience for us all.

Been to The Orchard for both lunch and dinner a few times. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and accomodating each time I have been. The food is great - fresh and large portions, and comes out so quick. On top of that, the atmosphere is so home like. I love it there, it’s super cosy and feels like a true local, while still feeling classy. A must recommend.

Asked for a Pint of Soda water & bitters and was charged and served in a different size glass. If something is not on offer correct a person and let them know what they’re getting. Don’t just say ‘this is how management wants it’. Yet Happy Hours is Pints for Schooner prices…make no sense. Fun times in Dry Jan.

Great Vibes, Great Food!! The Orchard is one of those places you stumble across and instantly want to come back to. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a great mix of modern style and classic pub charm. Staff were super friendly and quick with service, even on a busy Friday night. Their tap selection is impressive—craft beers & local favourites. One of the ‘Best spicy margs’, we had was here. Their food selection is also good with plenty of options to choose from. We had the crispy calamari, chicken bites & chips—absolutely delicious and well-priced.
