Blue Gum Reserve is a dog-friendly park in Chatswood where dogs can enjoy off-leash play. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Off-leash area. Mowed area only at Dulwich Road, opposite Peckham Avenue. Dogs are not permitted off-leash in the bushland area of this reserve. West of Van Hulsen Creek is a level 1 wildlife protection area: residents must keep their pets out of this area entirely. East of Van Hulsen Creek is a level 2 wildlife protection area: residents may walk their dogs on a leash through this area using formal walking tracks. No unleashed dog walking is allowed. If your dog is in a public area, including paths, roads and open spaces, it must be on a leash and controlled effectively by a competent person. Council has established off-leash areas where dogs may exercise under supervision. NSW Companion Animals Act 1998 s13.
