Batch Brewing Company - Darling Square

【Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.4/5.0)】 Batch Brewing Company is a laid-back craft brewery with an industrial-style interior and a relaxed, local vibe. The selection of beers is wide, ranging from classic pale ales to creative seasonal brews, though the overall flavor profiles felt somewhat average compared to other Sydney breweries. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but service could be a bit slow when the place got busy. The outdoor seating area was comfortable and great for socializing, yet the overall atmosphere lacked a bit of excitement. Prices are fair, making it a decent stop for casual beer lovers, but it didn’t quite leave a memorable impression beyond being a convenient and easygoing spot to grab a drink.

I thought it was just me...and then I read the reviews below. This is a great spot and the beers are good but there is one dude that works here that has major attitude. I don't expect a song and dance, but at least try to act pleasant and not sarcastic/standoffish. Definitely not what I have experienced at the Marrickville brewpub and pretty off-putting.

If u are at Darling square and in need of a cool IPA or pale ale, this is the place to come. Amazing selection, cool staff and just a nice place to grab a few drinks.

Absolutely my favourite bar in Sydney. Always good beer, massive and always changing selection of beers and the always amazing people behind the bar. There is nothing not to like. Also has a bottle shop for those takeaways. No food directly but loads of places you can grab food from and eat around the bar. Hard not to stop in on my way to the station.. Update 10/11/22 Still good. Taken over by Batch from Bucket Boys. Mostly Batch beers which is no bad thing. Just grabbed a Dine and Dash. Very tasty.

Had a really good time here. Nice tap beer and you have 20 choices! They also sell bottles, if you don’t like the beer on tap then go to their bottle shop! The every staffs are really nice and friendly! Love the place, people and of course beer! I’ll come back again!
