We joined the Archie Rose distillery free tour and tasting, a one-hour experience that runs throughout January and included tasting four gins and four whiskies. The tour was engaging and informative, giving insight into the distillery’s history as well as its modern approach. Traditional spirits were presented with an Australian flair, and we got to even sample limited-edition gins that are no longer in circulation. Our bartender was welcoming, entertaining, and generous with the pours, offering great advice on mixers and how to best enjoy each spirit in a cocktail.

Brought my husband to the gin making class as a Christmas present and it was excellent! This is a nice experience for those looking to learn a bit about Archie Rose as a brand, or basic gin knowledge, or to have a different experience! The layout of the class was easy to follow and our instructor was charming and kind.

We attended the Archie Rose distillery tour and tasting. It lasted about 1 hour and we got to sample 4 gins and 4 whiskies. It was a nice tour about the history and current vision of Archie rose. Some classics were made with an Australian touch. Some gins are limited run and can only be tried at the bar. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and interested in what they do. Bar are is incredible with a large selection of drinks. They are very helpful in recommending how to mix the specific product you may purchase. I’d recommend the tour and finishing off at the bar.

My partner and I did the whiskey blending workshop at Archie Rose and absolutely loved it. It was a fun, hands-on experience where we learnt a lot about the distillery’s history and the whiskey-making process. The team was knowledgeable and welcoming, and we got to create our own personalised blend to take home. Would definitely recommend for any whiskey lover or as a thoughtful gifting experience—unique, informative, and a great way to spend a few hours.
