After reviewing venues in the area their score and total reviews and deciding not to go to the “Freestate cafe” because it was pumping we picked this place for the view it’s a 3 at best the previous reviews are accurate from my experience. Food edible drinks sent back twice. Order taker wasn’t surehow to input a double expresso on the till. (The barista did make a good one a Ristretto shot, was better as their beans in my opinion are better suited to milk based coffees she has some knowledge good job l) the fresh juice was over powers with sour lime. The staff response was it’s meant to taste like that. My response was it shouldn’t display mint cucumber apple on the menu if you can’t taste it the worst in drinkable green juice I’ve ever had. I get it making juice on demand by kids is going to be an inconsistent outcome like a good chef tastes his sauces and seasons making a fresh juice consistently should be the same. The ended up replacing with a OJ. Perhaps prepping all the juice in the morning to taste better outcome and more efficient. Staff lack basic hospitality training. Noisy bistro buzzers constantly beeping was irritating not adequate shade for tables and it’s self serve at the pass find your docket collect your own food… there’s no service a disappointing experience in such a rich pretentious town. I’m standing at the counter asking for a refund or a remake for the juice and get pointed to the owner… I didn’t move I said I think that’s your job go get him. This venue has potential owner needs to lift his game to lift the ratings.
nice spot if you can get a table undercover or in the shade....depends on time of day to a degree. Had a hamburger 🍔 and chips for $20 plus $6 for a Bundaberg ginger beer. Was pretty good value. You have to order and pick up your meal at the counter. Staff were friendly enough.
Friendly beachfront cafe on Terrigal esplanade, relaxed welcoming atmosphere with tables in the sun or shade while you look out at the sea, I spent a couple of hours here reading my book while enjoying a fresh juice , coffee and pancakes. Highly recommend!
Great juice, service and location. Awesome little spot right on the beach - we received fantastic service from Morgan. Will definitely return .. highly recommend the juices here.
Terrigal Surf Cafe is a lovely spot to grab a bite and enjoy the views. The atmosphere is chill, perfect for a relaxed morning or afternoon in Terrigal. Food was decent, nothing blew me away but it hit the spot. Service was friendly. Would go back for the views and vibes, maybe next time the food will knock it out of the park. 3 stars for now!
